Urban House, an old Heritage building was found derelict and run down. Virtually uninhabitable apart from the vermin.
Our client, a young design firm, wanted a new home. Somewhere where they can run their operations and sublet where possible. As gently as possible, we dismantled and cleaned as much her away. It was somewhat of a discovery and most of the electrical and plumbing infrastructure was irreparable.
The Ground Floor gave way to a lovely Bar and Craft Eatery called Rust. The dingy apartment was also made into a bachelor apartment, perfect for a young professional.
The first floor was now a prime office space with some cool industrial finishes. New bathrooms and kitchens were created together with a large balcony.
